When a burst of electrically disrupted my brain
I wasn’t physically hurt but psychically pained
When seizures transpire today’s laws require
You can’t drive anything with a tire
For me the inconvenience was clear
Life goes from expansive to austere
I was sequestered at home
Unless I picked up a phone
And clicked on Uber’s app
To be driven to an address on a map
But it costs a great deal of dough
To get me places I wanted to go
Thus, spontaneity was entirely tied
Leaving me sequestered mostly inside
I had nothing but time
So, I turned out these rhymes
Often by things you’re broadsided
Are the gifts that best guide-us
