Wes’ Backyard BBQ Wing Eating Challenge!
Come hang out with the Vero Beach Foodies and Thomas Miller aka “The Food Guy” as we take over one of Vero’s most popular BBQ joints, Wes’ Backyard BBQ & Grill for a Hot Wing Eating Challenge! Wes has been in the kitchen experimenting and has created a sauce so diabolical that this contest will not be for the faint of heart. Do you have what it takes to beat the heat? Sign up to compete and prove it for bragging rights and a chance to win a $50 gift certificate for 1st Place, a $25 gift certificate for 2nd Place, and a $10 gift certificate for 3rd Place!
Here are the details of the contest:
Wing eating challenge starts at 6:15pm. You must eat 8 wings within 10 minutes drenched in the Mope’s hot sauce with nothing to drink and no napkins. Once you have eaten all 8 wings, you must sit through a grueling 5-minute after burn. Winners will be determine by who finishes their wings first and survives the after burn. One soft drink will be provided along with a few baskets of French Fries for the contest table. You must sign a release waiver before the contest begins.
