Valentine’s Mangrove Magic at the Environmental Learning Center (ELC) in Vero Beach is not your typical Valentine’s celebration. It’s a one-of-a-kind event that seamlessly blends romance, adventure, and family-friendly fun, all set against the breathtaking natural backdrop of the Indian River Lagoon. Whether you’re looking for a unique date night, a memorable family outing, or even the perfect place to propose, this event offers something special for everyone.
Event Highlights
- Illuminated Trails: Wander through thousands of twinkling lights along scenic trails.
- Campfire & S’mores: Gather around the fire, tell stories, and make outdoor memories.
- Valentine’s Day Crafts: Crafts that are fun for all ages.
- Mangrove Magic Encounter: For an extra touch of magic, a guide will take you through lit mangrove tunnels in a canoe, an experience not to be missed. Tickets for this special activity are $15 and are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the event.

$10 Admission (FREE for 11 and under)

$15 per person for a canoe ride (no reservations needed; first come – first served)
Must be age 5+ for a canoe ride
Canoe Weight limit: 250 lbs/person or 425 lb for two-people
$5 for two s’mores.
What’s Included: Your ticket grants access to holiday crafts, the campfire, art galleries inspired by nature, the Living Lagoon with its aquariums and touch tanks, the Nature Nook eco-boutique, and our newly introduced illuminated nature playscape.
