Rotary Kids Triathlon
The 1st Annual Rotary Kids Triathlon will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023 – a fun and safe, short course, swim-bike-run event for elementary and middle school kids between the ages of 6-13. This exciting youth-focused event is taking place at the Victor Hart Sr. Community Enhancement Complex/Gifford Aquatic Center in Vero Beach.<br />

The event emphasizes inclusivity: All children are welcome regardless of skill level or disability. There are a maximum of 200+ children participants on a First-Come First-Served basis for the most exciting youth event in Indian River County and along the Treasure Coast.<br />
<br />
Additional Program Highlights:<br />
> Kids who are novice or non-swimmers can walk in the heated Gifford pool, or have a friend or sibling complete the swim segment within a relay team<br />
> For the nominal entry fee of $15 (scholarships available), each child will receive a t-shirt, swim towel and cap, tote bags for storing their equipment, Finisher Awards and a cool medal if they place 1st, 2nd or 3rd for their age – and there will be plenty of water available during the event along with healthy snacks after the kids complete the course!<br />
> All youth participants, as well as their families and friends, will be able to swim for free for the rest of the day at the Family Community Day at the Victor Hart Sr. Complex<br />

>75 yards (3 lengths) for Juniors [6-9 yrs]<br />
>150 yards (6 lengths) for Seniors [10-13 years]<br />

> 1 mile for Juniors, 2 miles for Seniors<br />
> Bike & Helmet Required (Inquire for Equipment Needs)<br />

> 0.5 mile for Juniors, 1.0 mile for Seniors<br />
