Gentle Moon Artisan Gifts is a spin-off from our Cafe we owned and operated in North Carolina, “Gentle Moon Cafe.” Dan’s line of Seasoning Blends came about from blending spices to use in his cafe kitchen’s for the last 30+ years. They are very low in sodium and contain no MSG. His motto is....buy all 6 Seasonings Blends, you’ll never need to buy any other spices for cooking.
When we opened Gentle Moon Cafe, I developed a line of certified organic herbal tea blends. We are show casing 5 of those Herbal Tea Blends online & at local markets. Our teas are perfect brewed hot or poured over ice for a clean, crisp and refreshing taste.
Rag rugs and much more. 15 years ago, I started crocheting rag rugs as gifts, which turned into taking them to farmer’s markets. This lost art has caught the eye of so many people as they walk by, chatting with me on how they remember their Granny or Mom making them years ago. Many great...great stories.
Wind chimes & Sun catchers- This started when I purchased a couple of large boxes from friends who needed to let them go. I really did not have an interest in jewelry making, so I started to experiment with the beads using glass, acrylic & ceramic along with incorporating seashells once we moved here to Vero Beach. Our wind chimes come in many lengths, colors and shapes.
Wine bottle tabletop torches- Outside use only. I started up-cycling wine bottles by hand painting them with mermaids, lighthouses, sailboats and much more. I am most comfortable with using toothpicks as my brush.
