Ann is a graduate of the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) & licensed by the State of Florida.  In the U.S., all acupuncture schools teach Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Some schools offer additional training. At NESA, Ann completed 2 Japanese acupuncture programs:  Meridian Therapy with Steven Birch; and Kiiko-style with Kiiko Matsumoto.
 
Her post grad training includes: Herbal Medicine with Ted Kaptchuck.Traditional Chinese Medicine at Guang An Men Hospital in Beijing. Japanese Toyohari with Kowei Kurohara. N.A.E.T. with Devi Nambudripad. Korean Hand Therapy with Dan Lobash, AP. Zhu's Scalp Acupuncture with Ming Qing Zhu. Muscle Activation Techniques with Kevin Votta, CPT. Abdominal Acupuncturewith Dave Shipsey.
 
She has a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from Pratt Institute.  Fresh out of college, her first job was to create presentation drawings solar collectors installed on the White House by one administration, then removed by the next. She's for renewable energy & sustainable farming. She became a lifelong Hatha Yoga student during her freshman year of high school and earned her Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training Certification in 1991. She also enjoys volunteering, sports & music.
