All of our instructors are Red Cross Lifeguard certified and also extensively trained in our private swim program. At Vero Beach Swim School we teach with a patented float system allowing children to be comfortable in the water while learning swimming techniques that are potentially lifesaving. During every 30 minute class time we teach front crawl, back crawl, elementary back crawl (survival stroke), recovery, and they also have a few minutes of free time at the end to play. The class structure is the same every time allowing for skills retention and muscle memory. The program has outstanding results and is proven to be an extremely effective way for children to learn in the water.
