Access to Justice Legal Kiosks Now Open at Two New Locations in Indian River County

VERO BEACH, September 16, 2024 – Access to Justice (A2J) – an initiative of United Way of Indian River County, in collaboration with the Clerk of Court, local judiciary, and county government – is proud to announce the opening of two new legal kiosks, offering critical legal assistance to self-represented parties at convenient locations across the county. These kiosks are designed to support individuals who need help navigating family law, residential evictions, small claims, and other legal matters.

Legal Kiosk Locations:

•     Indian River County Courthouse: 2000 16th Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32960, Room #157

•     Intergenerational Center (iG Center): 1590 9th St SW, Vero Beach, FL 32962

•     UP Center: 1400 27th St, Vero Beach, FL 32960

•     Fellsmere City Hall: 22 S. Orange St, Fellsmere, FL 32948

Legal Kiosks provide free, easy access to vital legal services, including:

•     Locating and completing appropriate court approved forms for family law, residential evictions, and small claims.

•     Scheduling virtual consultations with attorneys for just $1.00 per minute (15-minute increments up to 60 minutes).

•     Form review by a supervisor for accuracy and completeness.

•     Access to virtual court hearings and attorney consultations.

•     Educational resources on family law, residential evictions, and small claims processes.

•     Connection to community resources.

Available Forms: The kiosks offer a wide array of forms, including those for adoption, divorce, child custody, tenant rights, small claims, and more. All kiosks are accessible in both English and Spanish, and users can email completed forms directly to the Self Help Center for supervisor review.
