Community Partners and Resources:
This event is not just about basketball—it’s also an opportunity for families to connect with a variety of local organizations dedicated to supporting children and families in our community. Several community partners, including Laura Riding Jackson Foundation, the Mental Health Collaborative of Indian River County, Rotary Club of Vero Beach, Treasure Coast Food Bank, Treasure Coast Technical College, TriO, and others will be available to share resources, answer questions, and engage with families throughout the evening. DJ entertainment and food for students have been generously sponsored by Substance Awareness of Indian River County.
This event is a celebration of our community’s commitment to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for all children and families. We’re honored to host these partners and provide a platform for them to connect with those they serve.
Why: This event is designed to inspire and motivate youth by showcasing the hard work and dedication of the IRSC Pioneers, who ended their last season with an impressive 25 wins and only six losses. It’s a unique opportunity for young student athletes to witness collegiate-level practice and training up close, learn from the best, and be inspired to strive for more in their own lives. We also aim to highlight IRSC as a valuable option and resource for students in our community, while bringing awareness and support to the athletic programs. These athletes deserve recognition and backing from the local community, and we want youth to see the potential paths they can take with the right support and dedication.
