Summer Rowing Camps

Offering three levels of Summer Rowing Programs that are geared for all levels of junior rowers (rising 7th graders through 12th grade), Learn To Row, Advanced Camp, and High Performance Rowing, open to all Indian River County residents.

Lagoon Island Adventure Camp at ELC

Join outdoor adventures, nature-based activities, and summer fun on the ELC’s 64-acre island lagoon campus! Our camps are kept small for a safe and individualized experience. 


STEAM Summer Immersion Program at ELC

Join a free STEAM Immersion program in Vero Beach for middle and high school students and learn to fly a drone, build a robot, and more! Meet new friends and build career interest this summer on the ELC’s Wabasso Island Campus in Vero Beach. Explore the Indian River Lagoon and learn the tools and technologies scientists use in the field. Open to Indian River County students enrolled in middle or high school.


Aerial Antics Circus Summer Camp

It is strongly recommended that students attend 9 weeks in order to gain the full benefits of this camp. This Circus based summer camp is now in its 47th year. This camp trains boys and girls ages 6 – 12 for a performance in the Aerial Antics Youth Circus at the end of the summer. Instruction areas include gymnastics, tumbling, circus aerial, and dance. Fun-filled camp activities include swimming, movies, arts & crafts, games, and off-site activities such as bowling and skating.


Sports / Aquatics Summer Camp

A full-day summer program with a great chance for kids to play their favorite sports all at one camp. The emphasis is on a variety of sports and recreational activities for youth ages 6 – 12 including volleyball, tennis, kickball, football & basketball.


Day Camp at Life for Youth

Send your child to Day Camp and experience a summer like no other, Day Camp offers a wide-range of activities to keep your children entertained and well-supervised during the summer. Choose one week or more! 


Resident Camp at Life for Youth

Come and experience camping at its best by choosing a week of Resident Camp for your child. Each week begins on Sunday afternoon and ends Friday evening. Resident Campers will stay in one of eighteen air conditioned modern cabins that house two counselor and twelve campers.


Sweet Summer Camp

Sweet Creations delicious and fun program is open to children 9 and up. The perfect place to make memories and learn a life long skill. Everyday children take home a sweet creations.


MVG Gymnastics Camp

Gymnastics, golfing, animals, movies, open gym, swimming, martial arts, bounce houses, crafts & games, and much more!


Performance Academy at Riverside Theatre

For the 2021-2022 season, Riverside Theatre is creating a new direction for the theatre program, offering comprehensive training in musical theatre, dance, acting, and voice.

Summer Camps are split into two, a Junior Academy for younger performers (ages 6-11) in June, and a Senior Academy for older students (ages 11-18) in July. These in-person camps divide the day between technique instruction in singing, acting, and dance in the mornings with rehearsals for a show in the afternoons. Each Academy culminates in a final performance of a different show at the end of each camp!

Summer Break Critter Camp at LaPorte Farms

Children must bring: Lunch, snacks, drinks, swimsuit, and a towel.


Skate Camp at Skate Factory

Great adult supervision and lots of fun, such as games, activities and much more.


The Walter M. Jackson Summer Camp

The Walter M. Jackson Summer Camp includes academic reinforcement in the morning and recreational activities in the afternoon. A healthy balance of academics and recreation enables GYAC to prepare students for the year ahead while allowing plenty of time to enjoy everything summer break has to offer. 


Camp McKee

McKee’s week-long camps will focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and much more (STEaM)! Camp McKee’s schedule of science and nature-based fun is designed to connect young explorers to the incredible world of McKee. Through a variety of interactive and multi-sensory lessons, campers are encouraged to use their curiosity and imagination to problem-solve, design, create, analyze, and build STEM-based projects using recycled materials. Animal and plant encounters, nature hikes, outdoor games, children’s literature, and craft projects are just some of the many activities children will take part in. Camp McKee’s mission is to inspire children to give back to the environment and their communities and teach them the skills and support they need to become outdoor enthusiasts and take their love of the outdoors well into adulthood.


VBHS Drama Summer Theatre Camp

Campers will rehearse, audition for roles, and put together a full musical with a set/costumes/ small live orchestra playing the music in 2 weeks, as well as learn basic acting /dance and singing skills from the instructors.


Summer Art Camp at Painted Frog

Attend 1 or ALL of our Summer Camps!
Every Tuesday & Thursday 10am-12pm
Drop off ages 6 & up to paint a pottery piece, play games, and enjoy a snack!


Vero Beach Art Club Summer Camp

VBAC Fine Arts Camp will be offered weekly, Monday – Friday.


Summer Creative Writing Camp

For Middle schoolers who like to tell stories and students who would like to become better writers, the Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation offers a week-long camp on the Mueller Campus of IRSC.  Students entering grades 6, 7, 8 and 9 will come for a week of fun-filled activities: nature journaling, pottery, poetry, historic tours and more. Certified teachers will emphasize creative writing skills and presentation, and Librarians at Brackett Library will help with library cards.
