It performs original music, mostly in the hard bop and modern Jazz contexts, but due to the diversity of their experiences, many other styles are present in their repertoire. The group has a long history of performance at national venues including the Aspen Jazz Festival, and the North Texas Jazz Festival. “Down Beat Magazine” has recognized the group with numerous Down Beat student musician awards.
