The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, a national organization that teaches people how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly, is partnering with the Indian River Lagoon Aquatic Preserves to host community events and educational activities, Feb. 27- March 6, 2017. Come join the Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers, Stephanie Whatton and Andy Mossey, for a fun and educational experience at the Environmental Learning Center in Wabasso, Thursday, March 2, 12:30-3:00p.m. This workshop will include slideshows, games and information on the Leave No Trace minimum impact program as well as a guided “quick paddle” in the beautiful mangroves of the Indian River Lagoon. Walk away from this session with the tools necessary to teach others how to reduce impacts on our favorite outdoor places. Admission to ELC is $5.00
