The show, aptly named Color, Light, Form: Paintings by Beth-Anne Fairchild, highlights Beth-Anne's glowing view of her surrounding world. Her subject matter, consisting of familiar objects and florals are particularly vivid. According to Beth-Anne: “I look at everything in life as though I was going to paint it. Shadows, colors, subject matter, how can I kick that up a notch? I love painting from nature and studying how sunlight and colors are really a combination of interacting abstract shapes making a beautiful object.” The exhibit, will run from January 5 - 29, with a reception on Friday January 8 from 5-8pm. This new reception date replaces the First Friday Gallery Stroll date, which this year falls on New Year's Day. Also on view, will be work in watercolor, acrylic, oil, graphite, mixed media, collage, jewelry, photography, ceramics and sculpture, by Gallery 14 partners: Edgardo Abello, Lila Blakeslee, Barbara du Pont, Mary Ann Hall, Barbara Landry, Virginia Knapp, Deborah Morrell Polackwich, Dorothy Napp Schindel and Shelley Weltman, as well as represented artists: Carol Staub, Francis Mesaros, Joan Earnhart, Terry Green, Walford Campbell, Emily Heinzel and new represented artists Michael Robinson and Mia Lindberg. from January 5 - 29, with a reception on Friday January 8 from 5-8pm.
