Main Street Studio & Gallery hosts a fundraising evening for H.A.L.O. No-Kill Rescue, featuring fine art, the company of adoptable animals, and a charitable cause. At “Art with a Heart,” visitors can enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks, and volunteers will be on-hand to introduce animal-lovers to some of the shelter’s dogs; the gallery will also offer special sales on its art wares to support the organization’s mission of advancing a no-kill nation for companion animals. Admission to this artistic evening is donation-based; Main Street Studio & Gallery requests that all guests bring at least one supply item necessary for the shelter’s operations. The list of much-needed donations includes: Cat and kitten food (Royal Canin, Friskies, Purina, Science Diet, Fancy Feast, Iams) Cat litter Dog and puppy food (Pedigree and Purina) Gently used towels Disinfecting spray and wipes Paper towels and trash bags Liquid laundry soap and fabric softener H.A.L.O. relies on charitable gifts from the community, and these items are essential for a clean, healthy shelter, where dogs, cats, and other animals get a second chance at life.
