A special meal is de rigueur any holiday
Holidays have one similarity imbued
One is encouraged to over consume
After your stomach reaches maximum swell
And finally, the appetite has been quelled
You don’t stop but continue on
Until finding you can’t suppress a yawn
You stay alert as much as you are able
Trying not have your head drop on the table
Good company, of course, your keeping
Because everyone else is over-eating
