Kids Night Out! 4th of July Project at Painted Frog
Drop off ages 6 & up to create a 4th of July keepsake! $25 for project, snack & childcare (6:30pm-8pm). Parents can enjoy a drink or dinner downtown while the kids paint!
Red White & Brew 5k
Running Zone Foundation will be hosting the “Red White & Brew 5k Run/Walk” at American Icon Brewery starting at 6:45 AM. This community-wide event is open to the public to help celebrate the Fourth of July. Breakfast, American Flags, most patriotic costume awards and Zippy the Gecko Mascot are just a few of the morning’s activities.
Annual Sebastian 4th of July Festival
Opening Ceremony – The Opening Ceremony will be at 8:00 a.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Flagpole at Riverview Park.
Parade – The Parade will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Indian River Drive and Davis Street. The route will continue South along IR Drive, ending at Riverview Park.
Festival – The festival in Riverview Park will begin at the conclusion of the parade and last until 9:00 p.m. The festival will include arts/crafts vendors, food vendors, bands, and more.

July 4th Swim to the Wreck
On Independence Day morning around 8:00 a.m. (a/k/a Fourth of July) celebrate our nation’s 245th birthday with a swim to the SS Breconshire (a/k/a the Boiler Wreck) and champagne toast at the flag (on the wreck). This is open to any and all who want to participate and those that don’t want to swim can kayak or paddle board (a few of those are needed to carry the champagne and to hang onto out there). Meet on the beach right behind the Ocean Grill. Plenty of parking in Sexton Plaza.
Boom on the Lagoon
Pack up the family – grab your friends – and head to Riverside Park for a truly memorable 4th of July. Don’t forget lawn chairs & blankets. Fireworks by Zambelli Fireworks, famous for spectacular pyrotechnics & special effects, will begin at 9 PM with synchronized music programming. Starting at 5 PM, “Johnny and the Blaze” takes the main stage with music from country to rock. Food trucks, contests, trivia games, children’s activities, and more!

July 4th Musical Fireworks with the String Assassins at Summer Crush Vineyard & Winery
Get ready for some July 4th musical fireworks with THE STRING ASSASSINS! Each adult entering receives a free raffle ticket for fun Summer Crush prizes. Feel free to bring your own canopy with hold downs or umbrella and lawn chairs.
The “real world” is Vero Beach Marketing where Nikki was recruited and is being mentored by Creative Director/ Owner, Stacy Cook. Nikki’s daily efforts include website management, email marketing, newsletter development, and most notably social engagement. Nikki has been instrumental in the deployment for the last two years of the “VeroBeach Marketing Summit” coordinating scheduling for regional and local experts in the digital space. In 2018 Nikki was responsible for the Email Marketing break out session, presenting her experience and insights to an audience of local businesses and professionals.
All of this is on behalf of local business clients and Vero Vine contributors. Nikki curates the good news about events, philanthropic happenings, and all the adventures in the Paradise of Vero Beach and the Treasure Coast. Updating Vero Vine, Vero Beach Foodie, and all of their client’s websites and Socials Nikki Kalin makes sure that the world has everything on Vero Vine within reach.
