Florida Craft Brew and Wingfest

On February 15th the 9th annual Florida Craft Brew and Wingfest will explode on Royal Palm Pointe 11:30-4 pm…About 15,000 of our closest friends will gather to taste 250+ craft beers 20% of those are homebrewed…buy drafts….eat wings and vote for the Peoples Choice, city officials will vote for Best Wings in Vero…There will be 4 bands; the Humdingers, Dave Scott & the Reckless Shots, East Harbor, and Jacks Band; on 2 stages and New this year will be 2 Jumbo-Trons to highlight what is going on as well as feature our $1,000 and up sponsors with their videos….The kids will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite root beer and some tents will have kids games…Rotary ladies will be selling pretzel necklaces…wing vendors from the Pointe (Mr. Manatees, Pizzoodles and Crabstop, Rhonda’s Seafood) can all also sell something other than wings…SOOOOOOOOOOO there will be food available. Make time in the day to stop by the Wing Eating Contest to witness about 3 lbs of wings go down in 30 seconds…This is a hoot!

All monies raised support the 60+ projects that Sunrise Rotary Vero Beach take on each year including supporting St. Francis Manor seniors, Citrus Elementary their Adopted School, 9 scholarships, working with ORCA on tracking the Lagoon in a science project, buying books for Adult Literacy, teaching kids healthy eating habits twice a year, helping to maintain the plants for Main Street Vero Beach, partnering with OBA on the Christmas Parade, stuffed animals totaling over a thousand from PetSmart customers distributed around the county and beyond, and so many others. Nikki Kalin

Nikki Kalin literally has the Treasure Coast, especially Vero Beach as her home and her office. Having grown up and educated in Indian River County Nikki works with a deep knowledge to tend Vero Vine with a continual reach into all the communities of the Treasure Coast. The “real world” is Vero Beach Marketing where Nikki was recruited and is being mentored by Creative Director/ Owner, Stacy Cook. Nikki has been instrumental in the deployment for the last two years of the “VeroBeach Marketing Summit” coordinating scheduling for regional and local experts in the digital space. In 2018 Nikki was responsible for the Email Marketing break out session, presenting her experience and insights to an audience of local businesses and professionals.
