A new facility with restrooms, paved parking, covered pavilions, easy beach access and a playground. Lifeguards on duty 9:10am – 4:50pm.
#5 – Environmental Learning Center
64-acres of learning on an island in the Indian River Lagoon. A Discovery Station with aquariums and exhibits, annual EcoFest, golf tournament, walk along raised wooden boardwalks, gift shop, boating, workshops, summer camps, canoeing and hiking.
#6 – McLarty Treasure Museum
Real Spanish treasure from 1715 and other historical artifacts. Pottery, weapons, and salvaged ship wreckage. Purchase a piece of history in the gift shop.
#7 – Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge
America’s First National Wildlife Refuge. Reservations can be made with a local boat tour operator or local boat, kayak and canoe tour vendors that offer rentals.
#8 – Royal Palm Pointe Park
Kick back, relax and picnic on leveled grass seating or shaded picnic tables. Fishing off the dock, enjoy bay views, and a splash pad with fountains for children.
