Fall is here, time to get in the spirit! Indian River County is offering tons of family fun throughout the month! With the corn maze and a parade, fall is bound to be the best season yet!

Countryside Corn Maze 

Lots of family-friendly activities in addition to the Centennial-themed corn maze, including jumping pillow, barnyard ball zone, rat roller, kiddie train rides, photo ops, nature trial, plus corn cannon and hayride (extra charges)…and more! Food and beverages also available.

Half-Haunted Halloween

Not So Spooky Fun for All Ages!  ELC’s 3rd Annual Half-Haunted HalloweenCostumes are optional as you take part in our celebration of Halloween on our Lagoon Island! Canoe through mangrove tunnels, Games, Not so Spooky Sounds, Halloween Nature Crafts,  We want you to experience Nature at Night with this interactive learning Halloween event!

Laporte Farms Fall Festival

LaPorte Farms Annual Fall Festival! Come join in the many activities including: Pony rides, Mechanical Bull, Home Depot workshop, Corn bin, Face painting, Gem mining, Cotton candy, Snow cones, Popcorn, BBq, Hot dogs, Hamburgers, Pumpkin patch, Hay rides. Great photo op areas. Vendors welcome! Pumpkins available for sale. *Prices may vary in size.

Countryside Flashlight Nights

Bring your own flashlight and explore the Centennial-themed corn maze at Countryside Citrus, plus still enjoy the other activities such as the barnyard ball zone, rat roller and jumping pillow by floodlight! Cost is $12 plus tax (children 3 and under free). 

60th Annual Halloween Parade & Costume Contest

The parade is being held Saturday, Oct.27th. Line-up begins at 9:30 a.m. The parade will start at 10:00 a.m. on 21st Street and then it will travel down 14th Avenue to the Vero Beach Community Center where friends, family and the entire community can watch the parade. There will be a costume contest immediately after the parade inside the Vero Beach Community Center. Prizes will be awarded for the 25 best costumes. 

31st Annual Fall Garden Festival and Plant Sale

Exceptional selection of plants – exotics, natives, tropicals, palms, orchids, herbs, garden art and accessories offered by vendors from across the state, children’s activities, food and more. Garden admissions are FREE for the weekend.

The Pumpkin Patch

Hayrides and Pumkin’ Chunkin’ nightly from 5-7pm, Sat 10am-7pm and Sun 12-7pm.

Hayride is $2 per person or $5 per family

Pumkin’ Chunkin’ is 3 pumpkins for $5

Comedy Zone – Oktoberfest Nights

Comedy Zone Oktoberfest Nights most October weekends. Celebrate Oktoberfest with German-themed food and music during our Oktoberfest Nights. 

Bowl to Build Scholars

Wear you best Halloween costume at Habitat’s spooktacular Bowl to Build Scholars! This Halloween-themed event will take place on Sunday, October 28 at 1:00 pm at Vero Bowl. The event will feature a 50/50 raffle, basket raffles, contests, awards and a chance to win best Halloween costume.

Nikki Kalin

Nikki Kalin literally has the Treasure Coast, especially Vero Beach as her home and her office. Having grown up and educated in Indian River County Nikki works with a deep knowledge to tend Vero Vine with a continual reach into all the communities of the Treasure Coast. She is in the vineyard virtually every day. Following its growth, nurturing start-ups, longtime roots, and branches of businesses, non-profits, municipalities, and everyday people. Nikki makes certain Vero Vine is connected.

The “real world” is Vero Beach Marketing where Nikki was recruited and is being mentored by Creative Director/ Owner, Stacy Cook. Nikki’s daily efforts include website management, email marketing, newsletter development, and most notably social engagement. Nikki has been instrumental in the deployment for the last two years of the “VeroBeach Marketing Summit” coordinating scheduling for regional and local experts in the digital space. In 2018 Nikki was responsible for the Email Marketing break out session, presenting her experience and insights to an audience of local businesses and professionals.

All of this is on behalf of local business clients and Vero Vine contributors. Nikki curates the good news about events, philanthropic happenings, and all the adventures in the Paradise of Vero Beach and the Treasure Coast. Updating Vero Vine, Vero Beach Foodie, and all of their client’s websites and Socials Nikki Kalin makes sure that the world has everything on Vero Vine within reach.
