Fall festivals, farmers’ markets,  pumpkins, a frightening 4k – Vero Beach has a lot happening! Check out these events plus more occurring this weekend.


Mulligan’s Skim Jam presented by Shore Lb.

The world’s largest one-day skimboard contest is back and skimboarders from across the globe are frothing at the chance to compete.

Now in its 12th year, the Mulligan’s Skim Jam Presented by shore lb., takes place at Sexton Plaza Beach, infront of Mulligan’s Beach House. registration opens at 8 a.m., followed by a rider’s meeting at 8:30 and competition commencing at 9 a.m.


Saturday Fall Festival Days & Pumpkin Patch!

Join us for our FREE Fall Festival Days! Each Saturday we’ll have face painting, hayrides, a bounce house and *delicious* baked goods, local honey and homemade apple butter – all alongside our annual pumpkin patch! A great time for the whole family!


Frightening 4K Run/Walk

This spooky, Halloween themed race features a flat, fast, course. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes and there will be a costume contest following the race. Amenities include premium blend shirts, custom medals for award winners, and a FREE Kid’s Fun Run. Post-Race festivities include Music, Refreshments, Costume Contest, Raffles and Awards Ceremony.


60’s 70’s Dinner Dance

Mark your calendars!! This is going to be a fun night!!


Dinner & A Ghost Hunt

This is not your typical ghost tour! Join us as we take you through a journey in time exploring the 100-year-old homestead of Vero Beach’s own, Waldo Sexton. We begin the evening with dinner where we will present interesting facts and stories of this home and the surrounding area.

After dinner, we will introduce you to real ghost hunting equipment and explain our methods of investigation to you. Then it is off to investigate the paranormal!


Shaving Cream Jack-o’-lantern

Learn this FUN shaving cream technique and create a Jack-o’-lantern bag votive! A great decorative Halloween 🎃 piece for your home to use year after year!

Come out and support NCCS dressed in your Halloween Costume.


Fall Festival

The Keystone Club at Vero Beach will be hosting a Fall Festival! This spooktacular event is family-friendly and will feature a Haunted House, Fall Food, Bounce House, a Costume Contest and more!

Admission is free but please note that some activities will require tickets. Ticket prices are 50 cents each or 25 for $10.00. All proceeds will provide educational opportunities for teens in our Keystone Club!


The Comedy Zone Experience

Wild, untamed & hilarious… THE COMEDY ZONE at Riverside Theatre is the Treasure Coast’s best stage for live stand-up comedy on Fridays & Saturdays. Two very funny comedians, full bar, great food, plus live music before the shows. Come hungry and prepared to laugh!


Farmers’ Market Oceanside

Find fresh produce, farm-raised delights and art every Saturday morning on Ocean Drive. Don’t forget your pets, the Farmers Market Oceanside prides itself on being pet-friendly.

Paint with your Kids – Moon Kitty

Great opportunity to do something creative with your children. Come and paint this lovely 12” x 12” acrylic painting Saturday. Let’s have fun!! You do not have to know how to paint. We will walk you through the process and you will leave with a masterpiece.


Farmers Market at Walking Tree

Lettuce gather every Sunday for a community market highlighting local farmers and their goods! Stop by for fresh groceries and craft beer.


Jekyll’s Basement Grand Opening!

Jekyll’s Basement is hosting a fun and exciting Grand Opening Event on Saturday, October 19th to celebrate our new Towne Plaza retail shop located in the heart of Vero Beach’s downtown historic arts district at 1926 14th Avenue.

There will lots of great stuff for the whole family to see and do! Costumed characters will be roaming the plaza and posing for pictures. Pattycake Art will be onsite for face painting and Henna tattoos, and punk/horror artist Swearwolf will perform a live show at 8:00 p.m.

Nikki Lindsay

Nikki Lindsay literally has the Treasure Coast, especially Vero Beach as her home and her office. Having grown up and educated in Indian River County Nikki works with a deep knowledge to tend Vero Vine with a continual reach into all the communities of the Treasure Coast. She is in the vineyard virtually every day. Following its growth, nurturing start-ups, longtime roots, and branches of businesses, non-profits, municipalities, and everyday people. Nikki makes certain Vero Vine is connected.

The “real world” is Vero Beach Marketing where Nikki was recruited and is being mentored by Creative Director/ Owner, Stacy Cook. Nikki’s daily efforts include website management, email marketing, newsletter development, and most notably social engagement. Nikki has been instrumental in the deployment for the last two years of the “VeroBeach Marketing Summit” coordinating scheduling for regional and local experts in the digital space. In 2018 Nikki was responsible for the Email Marketing break out session, presenting her experience and insights to an audience of local businesses and professionals.

All of this is on behalf of local business clients and Vero Vine contributors. Nikki curates the good news about events, philanthropic happenings, and all the adventures in the Paradise of Vero Beach and the Treasure Coast. Updating Vero Vine, Vero Beach Foodie, and all of their client’s websites and Socials Nikki Lindsay makes sure that the world has everything on Vero Vine within reach.
