We are delighted to invite the Vero Beach community to the 27th annual Saint Edward’s Trunk Show fundraiser! The Trunk Show is a unique shopping experience featuring carefully curated vendors from across the country. The Parents Association works hard on this school fundraiser as it directly benefits the educational programs for our children. We are grateful for the overwhelming support from our community in making this event a success and happy to share exciting details about the event. Our Kickoff Party has a southern hospitality theme and will be held on March 1st from 6-9 pm. One of the best reasons to attend the Kickoff Party is to enjoy the first pick of the fabulous merchandise. Our party will feature live country music from the Justin Grimes Band, Jim Hucks BBQ (highly recommended by real cowboys…) and a Kentucky Bourbon tasting with Sean McCarthy, a certified Bourbon Steward. Justin Grimes is a singer and songwriter from Plant City with a large following around Florida. We are excited for Justin to perform in Vero Beach for the first time. Justin’s style and sound are often compared to Chris Stapleton, who he has actually worked with on numerous occasions as well as other well-known country stars. Our Kentucky Bourbon Steward, Sean McCarthy will be on deck hosting a Kentucky Bourbon tasting. Sean will casually discuss bourbon the different maturations of bourbon, share some bourbon history and to answer any questions you might have about this country’s native spirits. In addition, Sailfish Brewing Company has generously agreed to be on site with several kegs of craft beer to taste.
We realize not everyone is cut out to #shoplikeapirate, so we have created a laid back environment that will appeal to the non-shoppers as well. Jeans are perfectly fine to wear. The Kickoff Party is a great idea for Date Night or a fun Girls Night Out. Boots are not required but sure are fun to wear! Tickets are highly recommended to be purchased in advance for $50 or $60 at the door, provided we have not exceeded our maximum capacity. You can purchase your tickets with this link: steds.org/trunkshow. The first 300 guests at the Kickoff Party will receive swag bags with promotional materials supporting local businesses. Please keep in mind that all guests must be at least 21 to attend the Kickoff Party on Friday night.
Remember that included in the price of the Kick off Party admission, you are able to come back and shop all weekend. We will have a few food trucks each day that you may want to come back and check out. Be sure to tag us if you post anything and try to use the #shoplikeapirate. We would love to repost your photos.
