Fourth of July Celebration

The annual family day is held at Riverside Park. This year’s event will be much bigger because of the Centennial. There will be bands playing starting at 5:00 p.m. along with a children’s play area, art vendors, food trucks, dance contests, trivia games, corn hole games, sack races and much much more. It is a day you will not want to miss.

Sebastian’s Freedom Festival

The City of Sebastian enthusiastically invites you to participate in the 47th Annual 4th of July Parade! This year, the parade will again begin at the Sebastian Community Center and the Sebastian Masonic Lodge at 1805 Jackson Street proceeding East on Davis Street and South of Indian River Drive to Riverview Park. The parade begins at 8:30 a.m. Prior to the parade, is the Freedom Run 5K, a Sunrise 5K race that helps support the LifeSkills Training program taught in all county middle schools and six elementary schools. Following the parade, there will be festivities in the park. Live entertainment, food, craft booths, vendors, etc. Fireworks at dusk.

Sebastian Fireworks

Bring a chair and blanket to Riverview Park along the river in Sebastian and enjoy an amazing firework display over the water. The show will start at dusk. Approximately 8-8:15 pm. This is a FREE community event. Water will be provided.

July 4th Swim to the Wreck

On Independence Day morning around 8:00 a.m. (a/k/a Fourth of July) we will be celebrating our nations 243rd birthday with a swim to the SS Breconshire (aka the Boiler Wreck) and a champagne toast at the flag (on the wreck). This is open to any and all who want to participate and those that don’t want to swim can kayak or paddleboard.

Artisans at the Mall

Join us for our 4th of July edition of “Artisans at the Mall” featuring talented vendors with an amazing variety of hand-crafted items! We will have kid’s activities and make sure to stop by the Raffle Donation Station located outside of the Mall Adoption Center. While you’re there, stop in and say hello to the adorable kittens and cats and ask about our holiday adoption specials!

Red White & Bluegrass Weekend

THUNDERGRASS a band of area superstars including Paddy King of the String Assassins and Strung Like A Horse, kick off our KICKASS BLUEGRASS weekend. The weekend continues with THE STRING ASSASSINS!!! Don’t miss this hard-driving progressive grass band. Not your Grandaddys bluegrass… but he would have loved it!

July 4th BBQ

The Vero Beach Elks Lodge is having a July 4th BBQ by Chef Kathi. BBQ Brisket, Mac/Cheese, Baked Beans, Corn on Cob, Watermelon, Dessert. 4PM. $12. Music by Groovin Groundhogs 5-8.

Nikki Lindsay

Nikki Lindsay literally has the Treasure Coast, especially Vero Beach as her home and her office. Having grown up and educated in Indian River County Nikki works with a deep knowledge to tend Vero Vine with a continual reach into all the communities of the Treasure Coast. She is in the vineyard virtually every day. Following its growth, nurturing start-ups, longtime roots, and branches of businesses, non-profits, municipalities, and everyday people. Nikki makes certain Vero Vine is connected.

The “real world” is Vero Beach Marketing where Nikki was recruited and is being mentored by Creative Director/ Owner, Stacy Cook. Nikki’s daily efforts include website management, email marketing, newsletter development, and most notably social engagement. Nikki has been instrumental in the deployment for the last two years of the “VeroBeach Marketing Summit” coordinating scheduling for regional and local experts in the digital space. In 2018 Nikki was responsible for the Email Marketing break out session, presenting her experience and insights to an audience of local businesses and professionals.

All of this is on behalf of local business clients and Vero Vine contributors. Nikki curates the good news about events, philanthropic happenings, and all the adventures in the Paradise of Vero Beach and the Treasure Coast. Updating Vero Vine, Vero Beach Foodie, and all of their client’s websites and Socials Nikki Lindsay makes sure that the world has everything on Vero Vine within reach.
