Walking Tree Oktoberfest

September 29th

Strap on your lederhosen or dirndl and join us for this all-day celebration! It all kicks off with our 3rd annual Volksmarsch at 11 am! A traditional, non-competitive leisurely mile and a half with our neighbors and friends! Then back to the brewery for a pint & lunch! We’ll have all your favorite traditions including authentic German grub from Wild Thyme Catering, live music from Alpine Express, beer releases, games & more!


Oktoberfest Nights

October 4th & 5th

Come experience our Oktoberfest Nights! Join us as we add a taste of Oktoberfest to our grill, bar, and music. Enjoy German food, beer, drink specials and authentic Oktoberfest Oom-Pah-Pah live music. Then continue the fun inside at stand-up Comedy Zone show (we recommend purchasing Comedy Zone Tickets in advance).

HALO Howls for Fall Festival

October 6th

Join H.A.L.O. No-Kill Rescue and The Shores Public Safety Department for a super fun Sunday afternoon as we unveil our 2020 Furst Responders Rescue Calendar! October 6th, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Enjoy music, food, hayrides, apple bobbing and more! Stroll through great vendors under the oaks and enter a Haunted House at your own risk!
Get your costumes out for a prize-filled costume contest for both 2 & 4 legged kids!
Save the date and celebrate the beginning of fall with two organizations working together to save lives!

The Great Halloween Costume Swap

October 12th

Donate your gently used costumes anytime beginning in September at any of the IRC Library branches and receive a swap ticket to use at the event. Costumes of all sizes are welcome.


Dogs For Life Annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Pawrade

October 19th

Join fellow dog lovers at Dogs For Life’s beautiful 4-acre dog park at 1230 16th Ave., and enjoy pet vendors, music, the Sheriff’s Department K9 demonstration, raffle prizes, the Pawrade, and much more.


Pumpkin Patch Painting Workshop

October 22nd

Let’s have fun!! You do not have to know how to paint. We will walk you through the process and you will leave with a 16” x 20” masterpiece. $40 canvas painting (all materials supplied) Option to upgrade to a pallet for $10 more.


Fall Festival at LaPorte Farms

October 26th

61st Annual Halloween Parade and Costume Contest

October 26th

Save the date of Saturday, October 26, 2019 for the 61st Annual Halloween Parade and Costume Contest – Centennial style! Line up begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Freshman Learning Center east parking lot. The parade will walk north on 14th Avenue to the Vero Beach Community Center where the Costume Contest will be held. Enter a float or walking group – no entry fee! Every child will receive a free goody bag.


2nd Annual First Responders Fall Cook-Off

November 2nd

Join us for an evening of live music, libations, home-made barbecue, and a cook-off contest featuring local first responder departments!
All proceeds to benefit the First Responders of Indian River County.


Fall Harvest Farm to Table Dinner

November 9th

Savor the season and delight in a mouthwatering menu with ingredients straight from the farm at Treasure Coast Food Bank’s annual Fall Harvest Farm-to-Table Dinner.
Fall Harvest is Treasure Coast Food Bank’s celebration of nutritious local food. Over the past two years, hundreds of guests have attended this wonderful farm-to-table experience which not only emphasizes the importance of good nutrition but also promotes buying, eating, and supporting all things local.
