Ends: Saturday 03/07/2015 11:00amIn conjunction with the Vero Beach Power Squadron, the Vero Beach Rotary Club, and the Treasure Coast CCA, I will be holding an oyster mat making event on Saturday, February 21st from 9am to 11pm. These mats will be used to restore existing oyster reefs and create new ones in Vero Beach. We need as many mats as possible for several new projects so invite your friends! High School students can earn volunteer hours: bring your forms to be signed. If anyone has questions feel free to ask me. Feel free to invite anyone, we need the help! We are looking for about 40 volunteers. Event held at the VB Power Squadron, 301 Acacia Road - located on the northeast side of Merrill Barber Bridge, past boat ramps, building is closest building to the bridge
