Dr. Jayanthi Chopra, a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon from Indian Harbour Beach, will talk with the Cancer Support Group of Indian River County Friday, January 18 at 1 p.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1301 Sebastian Blvd., Sebastian. The event is free and the public is invited.

"Dental and oral health are critical to recuperation during cancer treatment. Awareness of side effects and appropriate oral care can help with overall recovery,” said Dr. Chopra. She will address common concerns and treatment options as well as answer questions on dental issues.
