F - Introduction to Genealogy class

This class for beginning researchers consists of three sessions. Sessions I and II are held in the History Room on the second floor of the Indian River County Main Library. Session III is held in the Genealogy Department on the second floor of the Indian River County Main Library.
Session I is a lecture on getting started -- how to record and organize your facts; how to search for additional information; how to find and use available resources.
Session II is a lecture and demonstration -- how to find information on the internet and learning to use the library's genealogy department resources.
Session III is a hands-on session using the library's genealogy department computers to search online for your ancestors' records and other information.
The dates are September 14, 21, and 27. The times are 10am-12Noon.
Pre-registration is required. Register by phone: 772-444-7470 or register using the sign-up sheet on the table just outside the Genealogy Department at the Main Library. Please register early as the classes may fill quickly.
