If you're like many people, you may have an arrowhead or piece of bone that you've found over the years (be it in your yard or in grandpa's attic!) and you've always wondered if it's anything special. Thursday, April 13 is your time to find out! From 5 to 9 p.m. at the Heritage Center, Florida Natural History Museum paleontologist and collections manager Dr. Richard Hulbert will be joined by Florida Atlantic University’s Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute archaeologist Dr. Andy Hemmings, project lead on the Old Vero Site dig. Together they will help you identify and understand fossils or artifacts you have. The event is free of charge to the public and is hosted by the Old Vero Ice Age Sites Committee.
