Sebastian Skate Park

The Skate Park has been completely rebuilt and is equipped with many amenities a skateboarder and the rest of the community will surely appreciate.  Located at the Barber Street Sports Complex (1121 Barber Street), the Skate Park is a great enhancement to this complex.  The park has concrete features including three ramps, a jersey barrier, boxes and the entire skating floor.

 

 

Effective September 29th, 2019 the City of Sebastian Skate Park will no longer be supervised. Participants skate at their own risk and should ride within their own ability. Per Florida Statute 316.0085, the City of Sebastian is not liable for any accident or injury resulting from the use of the Sebastian Skate Park as a skater or spectator.

 

SKATE PARK HOURS (Effective September 29, 2019):

SUNDAY- THURSDAY 8:00 AM- 9:00 PM

FRIDAY & SATURDAY 8:00 AM- 10:00 pm

 

 

HELMETS ARE REQUIRED. NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

     Ø     Skateboards and rollerblades only, NO Bicycles

 

     Ø     Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times

 

     Ø     No other wheeled equipment allowed at anytime

 

     Ø     Knee pads, wrist guards and elbow pads are highly recommended

 

     Ø     Ride within your own ability

 

     Ø     Aggressive behavior will not be tolerated

 

     Ø     Food (including gum and candy), glass containers, alcoholic beverages and
             smoking are prohibited

 

     Ø     Pets and personal belongings (such as backpacks and coolers) are prohibited
             inside skating area

 

     Ø     Do not use if surface is wet

 

     Ø     No more than fifteen (15)  skaters allowed at one time

 

     Ø     The City is not responsible for personal belongings.

 

     Ø     City of Sebastian has the sole discretion to close the skate park due to weather,
             wet pavement, or any unsafe condition at any time

 

     Ø     Report any unsafe conditions the City of Sebastian immediately

     Ø     Action sports are hazardous recreational activities.  There are certain inherent
            risks in the use of the Skate Park, including but not limited to bodily injury and/or
            death.
